6/5- Phillies/Braves game 1

I love Chip's question "how long can the Braves keep rolling Colon out to the mound?" Sometimes the jokes just write themselves.

ESPN Stats and Information

In the last 2 seasons, 3 different pitchers have allowed at least 7 runs in at least 3 straight appearances ...James Shields (twice!), Zach Eflin and Bartolo Colón. Colón and Shields share another common bond -- Colón hit his 1st career HR against Shields last season

I am still hoping there is a taker for Markakis and his contract in the offseason. I'm resigned that we're likely stuck with Kemp for two more years after this year.

All the Braves need now is for some contender to lose their 2nd baseman for the year and come calling for BP.

Maybe so... I think maybe we're getting carried away with him some. I think he's a utility guy

That's what I think too. But you always have guys like Prado who end up being regulars even though they never projected that highly coming up. One thing I like from Camargo's minor league career is the strikeout rate being consistently below 20%. Also some hints last year and this year that he is developing some power.
