7.15.23 GDT - White Sox at Braves

Just checked into this one. Why the eff are we starting Allard in the 3rd game after the ASB? Elder already has 6 days of rest, no? What about Soroka?

White Sox are one of the worst offensive teams in mlb. Arizona is borderline top 10. Braves probably thought this was beat chance to win both games. Unfortunately the white Sox have destroyed our pitching the last 2 days. The slapped around strider, and they're straight up bending us over today
 
The Braves may have been still congratulating themselves on the 8 all stars and forgot they were playing a MLB team this weekend.
 
Unfortunately, we don’t really care about today if Rosario plays even remotely decent offense yesterday or Murphy (who is allowed a bad game) doesn’t have one. Baseball happens.

they won 9-0 Friday and yesterday was close, and mainly a fluke loss. It happens. Today has been the only terrible showing.

Absolutely horrible AL teams are the braves' kryptonite... last 2 series losses will be A's and white Sox. Fortunately for the braves, they won't face an absolute abortion of a team in the world series

Strider’s FIP and xFIP yesterday were 2.11 and 1.54. He wasn’t slapped around. He pitched very well. Defense let him down, and the bloops were aplenty.

Whatever the reason, you give up 5 er to this team (27th in wrc+), you got slapped around imo

Prob bc half our good relievers are hurt, and the braves prob searching for an impact reliever. I don't think soroka is gonna be impact in any role though
