MOVES: Wes Parsons, done with rehab,, has been placed on the Carolina roster.
Josh Outman moved his rehab to Rome.

Watched the Carolina game and I must say that's the best I've seen Sims throw. Hitting his spots, repeating his mechanics and all of his pitches were effective.

Couple other things to note from the Carolina game:

1.) All the talk (and rightfully so) is on Peraza and Albies but Johan Camargo is going to be good. Kid is extremely smooth at SS (reminds me of a young Andrelton) and handles the bat fairly well.

2.) Like the stuff (power arm) that Richie Tate possess which could eventually make him a late-inning reliever.

3.) Connor Lien is underrated.

4.) Finally, don't give up on Sims. He showed me tonight why he's a Top 100 prospect.

His stats have gotten better each year. Still Ks quite a bit and doesn't walk much, but he's put himself on the radar. He was an above-slot signing back in 2012.

No way, people here were hyping him up as a top prospect. He is a 4th Ofer or lower division starter for me.

I agree that Lien is underrated. Great tools.

10-run 3rd inning for the M-Braves, which ties the game at 10-10 after 3.

I guess I'm the mimic! I've been told I've never had an original thought.

Connor is a toolsy guy. He really struggled in short season ball but started putting some things together last year. He has had 571 at bats over the last year and a half. He has 161 hits with 32 doubles, 5 triples, and 10 home runs to go along with 38 stolen bases. The biggest issue is 162 strike outs to 36 walks. He can really run and profiles as a center fielder right now.

Matt Marksbury leapfrogged Mississippi and is now in the Gwinnett bullpen doing a nice job. Looked at his splits and he is murder on LHH. Could be a LOOGY in training. Good to see a leap like this. His performance was fairly nondescript up to this point in his career, but things can come together fairly quickly for pitchers. His control numbers have improved markedly.

I like Josh Graham so far. Totally box score scouting, but he's up to 19/3 K/BB in Danville. Only 3 ER in 15.1 IP.

Man this Mississippi / Jacksonville game is NUTS.. one of (if not the) craziest games I've ever watched. Tied up and headed to bottom of the 9th..
