Stupid baseball loses games. Harris kicked off the downfall by wanting to pad his stats rather than win a game

Just following on Gameday and had a similar thought. You are in scoring position and one of the best (who is probably the best) hitter in baseball in the box and you try to steal third? I hope Snitker doesn't say anything about it in the post-game press conference or this place will explode.

We're easily good enough to hang half a dozen runs on the board over the next few innings. But what we'll probably do his hit another 5 or 6 rockets for outs.

But MLB has assured us that their umpires are never wrong. We've been told repeatedly that the games are never really impacted by any calls that might possibly be interpreted by a fan as incorrect. Are you doubting MLB's lazy, self interested statements?
