7/21 GDT: Atlanta Braves (46-48) vs. Los Angeles Dogers (66-30)

Sad truth:
Split series with Dodgers 2-2
Win Diamondbacks series 2-1
Drop 2 of three at the Phillies 1-2
Road trip record 5-5

We usually follow good stretches of baseball with bad stretches of baseball for some reason. We are either killing people or looking horrible for some strange reason.

four game series against the Phillies I believe

btw it is interesting to look ahead...this is how we finish the season...3 games against the Phillies at home...4 against the Mets on the road...4 against the Marlins on the road

Whoops then 1-3 against the Philles for a 5-6 road trip record...it's how we roll.

What is this talk of splitting with the Dodger$. We need to chop off their F'ing heads. Let's take down Kershaw to get the sweep.

Being realistic?

Julio has never seemed to pitch well in LA, and Kershaw looms Sunday. Yeah.

Realistic isn't really in the conversation so far this series. Lol We just beat the sh*t out of them with a guy who has been one of the best pitchers in the game on the mound. Aside from a few setbacks, the Braves have legit been really solid for about a month. I don't think we pull any miracles, but it might be time for to realize that the FO's plan is actually semi-working. This isn't directed at you, Heyward, I just replied to your original statement lol

And the Dodgers were due for a letdown, they've been like 30-5 the last 35 games aka unsustainable baseball.

I like the direction we're headed lol. With the right moves, we can contend for the WC in 18-19, possibly take over the division by 2020 depending what the Nats team looks like.

The FO plan has obviously worked, you look at a team like Philly. They've been rebuilding for like 5 years and still show no signs of promise. Braves are in year 3/2.5 of the rebuild and are showing many signs of progress.
