After watching JT for awhile, i think his issues are a lot more than just a slump. I don't like saying this but Teheran has all the traits of an athlete who is mentally weak. You can see it in multiple facets of his approach and demeanor. The problem is that I'm not sure that any amount of training or coaching can get to the heart (or lack thereof in Julio's case) of this particular problem.

I have Julio and Chris Davis on my fantasy team. Teheran is -19 and David + 19. Perfect.
 
Freddie needs to get him out.

At this point he needs to be handled to kid gloves to coax him back to usefulness not leave him out to take a beating, lose confidence and crater into oblivion.
 
Should be trying to trade him as we speak. Although a pitcher as bad as him probably won't get a good return.

In all seriousness, do you think he'd be a candidate for a long relief role? As has been stated previously, his trade value is nil now.

Before this season, I honestly believed he was a strong #2 or #3 pitcher in a good rotation. Boy, was I wrong.
