I totally agree. I get the Braves' Way and all of that, but I'm all for a new field staff.

Roger McDowell's stock has never been higher. Harrell, Alvarez were guys who were released in the minors but brought around to being effective major league pitchers. That's got to be on McDowell in large. Wisler, however, has been a huge disappointment, but I think a lot of it is he's not doing some things that have been recommended.

Hopefully Wisler is able to figure things out in Gwinnett. I dont think he's this bad, but it's not hard to think that.

I agree. I don't think that McDowell is an evil genius though. The kids we bring up seem to teeter on confidence problems once they start missing their spots or get hit. I don't think any of them could have handled Mazzone's approach, but I'm thinking his mentality may have been needed for our fragile youngsters. AJ (And I can't stand to watch him catch, yelled, cussed or whatever at Blair and he folded like a wet blanket).
