Kemps joining the team Tuesday it was reported

DOB documents the logistics of flying commercial out of San Diego in his blog. Braves off Monday.

Also announced that Marksberry goes on DL with rotator cuff inflammation; Daniel Castro (yay!) recalled.

With Castro coming up, is it possible we see Aybar DFA'd?

I've been 100 percent wrong this weekend, so factor that when I say it seems more plausible that will happen at the end of August. I see Snyder getting DFA's and returning to Gwinnett by agreement.

Of course the TV guys missed it, but Aybar put a major league decoy on him on the throw away.

Keep this in mind: if Matt Kemp were playing LF for the Phillies, the Braves would have at least three extra base hits today. You can't hide bad defense.

Ender continues to play well in the 2nd half. Trying to salvage a lost season offensively. I think I would trade him and keep Mallex if one of the two are to be traded this offseason. I think Ender is a better player but Mallex being under contract longer makes more sense to keep around as the Braves are still a year plus out imo.
