Red Sox adding on vs Herrera
3-0 t9
Herrera is going to be a nice pickup at the deadline by the Braves
I'd like to get him and Matt Adams back as a bench bat. The nats should be out of it in a few weeks
I agree in the flow of the game, but if it happens consistently with the same guys.... someone's going to get hurt. I don't have the answer, but I really hate seeing guys hit batters over and over, especially if guys are getting injured by it.
Braves aren't winning this!
That was an 0-2 pitch. Horrible job by Julio
Especially since we had Heyward, Flowers, and Freeman all burned for an extended period of time, so it benefits teams to hit players (even if it's an accident). It doesn't seem to get replacement level guys. It seems to get the Bryant/Springer/Justin Turner types since they're harder to pitch to.
The Yankees over here getting cheap homers like it's nothing and we're demolishing pitches to the warning track and they're just dying lol
We've had our fair share of them too, both teams play in the same park so dumb excuse.
Because those players get more ABs and see more pitches.
They'll add at the deadline too.I only speak for myself here, but I think the most frustrating part about this entire experience is that Atlanta has been really solid all year and the Phillies have been coasting and barely beating teams but could be 1.5 games behind after today. Just really unfortunate.
Why would you throw an 0-2 fastball to Stanton there? That's my thing. Just horrible.
