7-4... Yankees' game 3

Judge career splits...

Home = 1.149 ops 52 HR. (592 PA)
Away = .810 ops 27 HR (548 PA)

Wonder how many HRs at home would've been outs on road?

If I'm yankees, I sign Harper. Harper would hit 60-65 HRs as a yankee

How long is the “he is building back up” excuse valid? He has thrown over 40 professional innings this year, unknown number of side sessions, and it’s July.

95 out of the BP isn’t exactly special.

Well what's the reason? He was 97 last year, got injured, and now mid 90s.

Acuna has way too many non-competitive ABs. I keep comparing him to Soto, but so far there is no comparison. Soto seems to give a great AB every time. Things may change, but Soto is clearly better so far, and younger

They probably whispered in Boras' ear about 1B being a position of need. Now you see Harper taking grounders at first...

Remember he's just 20. Many players don't dominate immediately even though we hoped he would.

IDK what you have, as the NWS has 65% and it was in the mid 80s earlier. NWS has 52% for Atlanta.

Humidity doesn't get any easier for you even if you're native to X area, outside Latin people probably. Light humidity is alright, but I get nausea headaches sometimes when it actually is real humid.

Okay, so why isn’t it an issue for the Yankees pitchers?

No reason to compare him to Soto. Compare Acuna to all over 20 year olds at the major league level. Only 20 players since 1950 have had at least a 100 WRC+ as a 20 year old. 15 of those are HOF or future HOFers. Acuna currently at 114. Soto could very well become a star but Acuna is going to be very good for a very long time barring injury.

I think both are gonna be stars. I'll be surprised if Soto is more so though

Those splits are ridiculous. Outside of Yankee stadium he’s just a pretty good player. If they get Harper, entirely possible, they will hit 300 homers. That’s crazy.

The need for Machado would be at SS if any. Swanson is outstanding on D but is struggling terribly with the bat.

Lets see where Soto ends the season. Dont expect this to continue. He definitely appears to have elite plate discipline though. Acuna was never known to have that.

Which is why he's hitting 8th/9th. Swanson's D is worth having him in there. With Camargo looking good the only real needs for position players is someone to take RF's spot. Need someone who can swing it from the left side to spell Camargo/Swanson from time to time. The most obvious need is another high leverage reliever or two.
