He also got that last K with a cutter he mixes in too. Plus he has had good velocity hitting 94-95 mph a lot with us so far. That sets up his slider very well.

His little run got me excited, but he's the same ole folty. I have zero confidence he becomes an above average MLB pitcher

Folty has the talent but he's not emotionally mature. He also needs to eliminate the 4-seamer from his arsenal or find a way to get movement on it. Sure, it comes in at 98 but it's just flat and hittable.

I don't get caught up in runs or homeruns at this point in his career. I would like him to stay healthy and just keep learning to pitch. He is going off talent right now. he will learn to mix his pitches and become more effective. he was up a lot tonight.. some of his off speed stuff was really good. Just keep building off each start and I think he will be just fine.
