I think he lacks confidence as a base stealer. You could see it in his face when he got thrown out. Just a look of bewilderment. He struggles with his reads more than anything. Just needs to figure out that part of his game. It's something that can be learned.

I don't want to go out on too much of a limb, but there seems to be a strong correlation between Grilli pitching the 9th and us winning. We might want to try it more often.
ETA: The numbers also back this up. 28-7 when Grilli pitches, 14-35 when he doesn't. Just saying. This isn't rocket science.
