Well, he hasn't, and it's comical. That's not to suggest he's been terrible at the plate—but he's a slow-footed RF for whom, so far at least, it'd be charitable to use the phrase "warning-track power". I don't think I'm alone in finding some ribbing to that effect funny, nor do I think such japery should gall the Joneses of Markakis' fan-club.
