Braves Game notes indicate that Touki Toussaint will start today's game one against the Marliins. Folty starts game two.

Promoted to Gwinnett, 5 starts, 2-0, 2.01, 32 Ks in 31 innings

Also hitting .310 (9-33, 3 doubles, with 6 RBIs)

Merandy Gonzalez (callup) and Pablo Lopez. Gonzalez up earlier as reliever (2-0, 5.71), was 3-6 as starter in AA, this is first MLB start.

Lopez 2-2, 4.32 in 7 starts.

Let’s do this! I’ll miss both games as I’m on a work trip, but I’m hoping we see a great two games.

I’m predicting great games for Acuna.

Touki’s start is official:

Braves: The #Braves today selected RHP Touki Toussaint from Triple-A Gwinnett, optioned him to the Stripers and appointed him the 26th man for today’s doubleheader.

With the DH, Snit will have to manage the pen a bit differently today. Good pen management probably will have to incorporate getting multiple innings from at least one of our high leverage guys. Biddle and Winkler are the main candidates since they didn't pitch yesterday.

Hopefully Touki can give us at least 6 innings so we don't put too much stress on the bullpen today. We have a chance to gain major ground in the division with this series while the Phillies are playing the Red Sox.

6 is the realistic best case scenario from Touki. I'd love to see him hand it off to the pen with a lead.

Its been a long time since I've been this excited about a SP debut. Because if he is finally getting it, wow. Seems like such a great guy too.

This could go crazily either way. I had more of a sense of confidence for Soroka's debut.

I don't think we see Allard in a high leverage situation. He is the sacrificial lamb in the current bullpen configuration.

I don't think this will be a high leverage situation. I think we get on the marlins good early. Allard's 2 ip may end up being 8th-9th though
