Yep. I like him alot, but he's a terrible catcher. He's way more suited to be in the AL.

The Braves are finding new ways to lose games now. Folks lets face it, 0 and 8 on this road trip is very realistic, especially with Tyson Ross and King Felix due next. This offense really, really sucks. They've gotten three great pitching performances out of these five games and have nothing to show for it.

didn't think it was that bad on Gattis. Had to slide a long way and got a bad bounce. Yes a good catcher probably makes it, but it's on Walden for me too.

Also we know Gattis isn't a ninja back there. If you are going to bounce it, you can't make him move laterally at the same time.

Cost us 2 games so far on this very road trip... Maybe 3 after tonight.

I wish we can combine all our catchers.

Defense: CB arm, Laird-ass blocking, Gattis framing
Offense: Gattis

A shame that we can't combine those qualities.

I disagree with a lot Fredi does (or doesn't do), but what is he going to do about Gattis right now? Our offense is so bad he CAN'T replace him. This is on Gattis. He has to get his big bear (see image) ass in front of some balls.
