8/2 Game Day Thread - Atl Santana - SD Kennedy

This team does not have what it takes. Now 6-10 since the break. 2.5 games out. They are about to get abandoned if Washington plays to its capability, which is a stretch in and of itself.

I just can't emphasize enough how disgraceful this performance was.

Oh well, the clubhouse leaders will get it straightened o ut..Hudson..no wait..McCann, er... Prado... well, at least we have Ross...uh... ok well, BJ will CERTAINLY get them on the right trac....never mind. Night all. Rip Pete, almost glad you weren't here to see this meltdown. WTG Fredi, now lets watch the presser so we can hear you tell us how well Walden did (with the exception of one pitch), and how Ervin needed to come out, and how Gattis ALMOST got a hit... my ass REALLY hurts now. Screw it, we'll have much better luck with the rest of the teams we face on this road trip...none of them have winning records....oh wait....I'm gonna start smoking again.
 
Just to many holes in the offense
Too many rally killers with the strike outs. Simmons is trying to hit the ball a record distance every time up. Seriously if he would take level swings he would be dynamite

I'm just at a lost for words...this team is unbelievable and this has to be a season low for them....letting "sucked on a lemon face" Venable just walk you off like a fckn boss like that? Completely a season low...They will lost half the fan base after tongiht

no, they are players and that happens, but BJ being in the leadoff position, asking Kimbrel to throw 30 fvcking pitchers is on him. Him saying that BJ is our best option at leadoff sealed it for me. You can't say that to one of the worst hitters in the major leagues notwithstanding being on the AStros roster or Cubs Olt in the majors.

He fvcking suck.

I am with you on this one...Given, the pl;ayers did fck this up tonight, but he is not putting this team in good positions to win a ball game...

Fredi's worst screw-ups tonight didn't alter the outcome of the game. That's all I meant.

I've got to take a few days off from this team. I still love them, but Christ Almighty.
 
I am out of here. I hear the vodka calling me for a drink. Maybe I can reminisce about Pete called games back in the the dark days of Braves baseball to calm my nerves. Thinking of Horner and Murphy, Washington and Ramirez, Benedict and Niekro, even Chambliss and Oberkfell. The good days even though not a good team, but solid managers unlike we have today.
