Serious question... You think Murphy is juicing? He's 31 and .049 higher on avg than career avg, .209 higher on ops, 10 hr's higher than best year, and .160 higher on slugging than his career avg

Really only thing out of line is his ISO slg. He has been getting somewhat lucky with a higher than normal BABIP for him. He could be juicing but testing is pretty legit these days. Sometimes players just have career years.

Certainly hard to see how he's not. Its more than just a BABIP lucky year. His power has incredibly spiked, at 31.

Murphy leads the nl in slugging

Wisler, Folty, Blair, Jenkins, and Whalen were all acquired by trade. To tell the truth, I have no faith any of them will be in our rotation in the '18 season

I see about two of those guys figuring it out and becoming middle/bottom of the rotation guys (if you include Gant too). Whalen and Gant have good strikeout numbers, and Wisler, Blair, and Folty have decent stuff.

I don't think Jenkins is gonna stick though, doesn't strike enough guys out.

He obviously could be clean and just figured something out. Testing policies are pretty strong now. It does seem like every you give someone the benefit of the doubt it later comes out to the contrary.

He's dam sure turned into a heck of a hitter. However it's happened

I guess that is probably about the normal attrition rate really. We really need the guys behind this group ( Newcomb, Sims, Allard, Soroka etc) some turn into TOR staters. Not necessarily Aces but Julo equivalent, with one guy maybe emerging as a big timer.

This team keeps trying. At least there's that.

The offense has become decent. Pitching has just gone to ****.
