I am cheering for the Giants. If they can sweep away the Nats, I like our chances to take 5/6 from them head to head. The Nats are due to stumble backwards....

Braves won 6 of last 7 and lost a game in the standings -- that road trip.
Kinda like '64 Phillies and "the lead"

We arent catching the Nats.

They're like 8 up in the loss column which is what i use the most.

We'd have to win all 6 to have a slim shot and thats not happening.

Unfortunately we have to be Nats fans this weekend

Careful saying stuff like that! Some of the ..fans.. on here will call you crazy for believeing in the team and thinking they even have a chance before the season is over.

Nothing wrong with thinking it.

It's just very unlikely we win the division and the Giants are the team in front of us, so need the Nats to win this weekend unfortunately.

Even if we tank, we may still be stuck with Fredi next year. Plus if we somehow make it in and win the WC game without Fredi messing it up, I don't see why we cannot beat the Nationals in a series the way we own them.

We may own them but you know the Braves would find a way to choke like they always do.
