8/22/14 Braves @ Reds 7:10 ET

I'd take Harper over Justin and Heyward. Harper playing center can cover as much field as two corner outfielders combined. Am i right?

And the diarrhea of nonsense and futility from you never stops.

Interesting.

Dalyn and others are far worse than me on FG. I understand your hatred for me from you, too bad I don't reciprocate it back (hate is a bad emotion and only hate one person in this world)

I don't stoop to that level, brother.

Thank you for your comment. It made me and everyone's night on how stupid it was, thank you.

Had to delete my earlier post saying we had to find someone to close this one out.

Fredi trolled the hell out of me...I forgot he didn't bring Kimbrel in when managers normally would.

Not over yet. I hope you have your Mylanta on standby for the stomach or the extra size cup for the nutpunch.

Productive night. Nice to see those turds in Washington finally lost....but of course it was against another team we're trying to flank down.

Woo hooo, Justin with the Boomstick (surprise no one has giffed that yet)

And Mylanta and nut protectors, no sales tonight.

The diamond industry only got a few tonight, good thing.

FG manage a great game and the guys came through, Doumit pinch hitting leaving with no catcher is risky with expended bullpens, notwithstanding.

I do have a question, on the Minor pitches on 3-2 and what lead to that hit by Hamilton, is that a bench call, pitcher call, or catcher call?

Have to say one more time, great job by Mike Minor tonight. Combined with his outing Sunday night, this can do nothing but boost his confidence. We'll need him these last few weeks and these last two outings are good signs.

Yeah, the last what 4 or 5 have been great. I hope we get this the rest of the year, we will definitely need it.

Listening to Sutton last night talk about Wood and curve ball he throws when in reality he really doesnt neeed to show his second pitch. Don told a story of when Smoltz turned a corner from a talented kid to a dominant big league pitcher. Pretty sure that is what we are watching this year -- young players learning the what's and why-fors of the big leagues that can only be learned b screwing up and then going back out with a fresh head and a new start.

The future looks so bright on this team. Up and down the roster and organization. Methinks in a year or two we might see that trip out west as the best thing that could have happened to this group.

Now, go get Heyward and JUp signed

I just wish Smoltz and Chipper just talk to them once in a while more (the younger players), they can learn of lot from vets who have been there.

What Sutton was talking about were things that players have to learn from experience. I'm sure the older Braves vets talk tothem -- shoot dont forget, Sutton is in the HOF and with the team every day - my guess is he throws BP and works with young pitchers on the road.

Amazed here what a missed start and some time off did for Minor's head. His body language is shouting volumes about where he is right now.

Heard Fredi talking about Simba after "the bunt" saying we cant forget these players dont get the same AAA ball / instruction like they used to where a lot of these bumps we see are ironed out in the minor leagues. It's one change in the game I'm not sure what I think of. But hey, look at the talent of the players the Braves have brought up from Mississippi the past few years. I dont get around scouts anymore but I heard one say a couple years ago that AA pitching , talent wise, is in many ways better than AAA pitching. the difference my friend said was, experience

Wait till Woods,Minor and Tehran can walk out there with the savvy of Harang and Santana. The young three need their best stuff every night for 100 pitches. It's fun watching Harang and Santana weave through lineups with flat fastballs and hanging breaking pitches and still keep the team in games.
The kids are learning

#Braves Minor gave credit to E. Santana for helping him adjust the grip on his sinker and slider in down time when rotation turn was skipped
