The lineup is good but I really feel like the make or break guy for us is Markakis. The offense just hasn't seemed as dangerous since he went down.

Markakis only had a .700 ops since the break before his injury. Ender was red hot though and ortega isn't able to replace him like Joyce has Markakis. Joyce is 2-2 with a walk again today.

When Riley gets healthy, I'd get rid of Culberson. Duvall is a better outfielder, and hech is a better defender. Culberson is straight trash offensively for 40 games or so

That was largely due to low slugging after the break. His OBP was .360 post-break. It was his ability to get on base and keep the inning going that I feel like we're missing.

Culberson is going no where regardless, stupid to want to drop him over slumping now. it was bound to happen at some point as little as he plays. Hard to go a full season doing what he was doing.

Yeah. Culberson's versatile and not completely useless at the plate. He's slumping bad recently but there's no reason he can't come around at some point.

Joyce is basically Markakis with more power potential. Ender is who we miss and he is a second half performer unlike Markakis who was going to fade again since we rarely rested him.
