A friend of my wife was down there about 30 feet from where he fell. Said she heard the guy was trying to prove to some folks he could walk on the tight rope up there and fell.

Via APD: the fan that fell from the upper deck was a male in his early 60's. Died at Grady Hospital. No further details at this point

Awful. Just awful. Reasons aside, the loss of a life is just terrible - especially when it happens in front of so many people. I pray for his family and friends here. My heart is broken over situations like this.
