8/31 - Braves @ Red Sox, #MyAce Edition

You are always hilariously wrong.

Newk was supposed to be in the middle of a string of 5 WAR seasons right now according to you.

You’re an idiot, who proves it over and over with your aggressively stupid takes on things. Period.

Riley has made real progress in the plate discipline and contact departments. He is now something approximating a below average MLB hitter. Below average MLB hitters have stretches where they produce well, and that’s what Riley is doing.

If Riley continues to progress in his areas of weakness, he can very likely reach the Jake Lamb comp that was placed on him years ago.

I think that’s been a very consistent analysis of Riley’s game.

You are a pompous asshole. People can’t be wrong about things?

Thought that was going to be another six PosiPosts from thethe, but Devers robbed us of that ...

That should've been strike-three, but Flowers dropped strike-two for a ball call.

Needs at least 2 more productive mlb seasons with the braves. Do you agree?

No. The shortened season has really hurt him but Neck is going to be a guy that needs to get to 3000 hits to get in. So that's like 4 more productive seasons.

Very cool to see Fried clearly struggling and yet still put up a pretty solid effort. That was likely his worst outing of 2020, and the Braves should still win the game handily.

If he keeps pitching like this, he's a real threat to win the Cy Young. The narrative—"he was the Braves' only starting pitcher"—could really aid his case in the minds of journalist-voters, I think.
