8/6 SATURDAY MINORS THREAD ... Gant sickened by outing

Was at the Carolina game tonight. Some notes: Keith Curcio is fast, good quick stroke, but his defensive instincts seemed a bit off. Murphy hit the crap out of the ball 3 of his 4 ABs, just got unlucky with BABIP. Thurman had his changeup working well (solid pitch), but his landing spot was inconsistent and that definitely screwed up his control. Demeritte looked almost demoralized out there. Zach Quintana looks poopy. I don't know who Gebhardt is, but his defense at third is smooth.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: holy **** Sal's mustache in person. SAL'S MUSTACHE. IN PERSON. OMG.
 
it's getting harder and harder not to get excited by what dustin peterson is doing this year. too bad kemp is going to basically block him in left field now. i really don't get that trade a whole lot...
