Nickle's thrickle trickle to the plickle.
"Tantalizing breaking ball, somehow he laid off."
-Chip, on a hanger up in the zone.
So our TV guys don't think 6 innings of 3 runs is a quality start, but Shelby pitched well today with 5 ip 2 er.
Dude, Jim Johnson just gave up 8 more runs tonight. Dude has been awful for the Dodgers. Alex 5 innings of three run ball. Good trade for them or not, these guys have sucked for them.
When Alex left tonight and before JJ came in the Dodgers were in line to win, not that Wood's line was great but hardly a problem. Why did they leave JJ in to give up 8 runs anyway? Did they just decide to say screw it and rest everyone else? I wasn't watching obviously.
BTW, Peraza has been on fire since the trade...
Not bad for a MOR pitcher, not for an ace like some of yall proclaim.
Haha, you're full of crap again. Plus Wood's numbers going back a few years speak for themselves as far as the big names he's ranked with among lefties. And his season to date not being as strong doesn't change that.
Its about trying to figure out what he is going to do in the future though.
Hanson/Beachy/Medlen/JJ all pitched close to ace like for a couple of years.
Time to ship out Shelby.
Why would we ship out someone who you've described as an ace?
But he could get hurt

Agreed. But I prefer to shop out guys with questionable mechanics and decreased velocities.
shelby still pumps them in at 96 consistently.
