I agree that they should rest Cabrera more but it didn't seem to affect him. Pretty sure every fastball he threw was over 100.

It was very impressive. If the Braves can add Simkons and ManBan to Cabrera and Viz they will have a potentially elite BP.

Wonder if we will go with three catchers when Flowers gets back. It would probably require us to go with the standard 7 man pen for a while until rosters expand in September.

I don't think Minter will be ready for the show by next season. The 4 I listed should be in the BP on opening day next year.

Too early to tell. He seems to thrive off of weak contact and coming up with big pitches in tough situations, but who knows how long that will last after the league has a good bit of film on him. I think he needs to start pounding the strike zone a little more. But he does a good job keeping the ball on the ground and seems to have a great mentality on the mound. I hope he succeeds.
Personally, I think he is a full grade above Whalen and has a legit shot to stick as a back of the rotation guy. He could be a low 4 ERA guy that is useful while he is cheap.
