Weigel and Peterson

Ellis probably done with 102 pitches. 7.0 IP, 3 H, 8 K, 0 BB. Niceee

Also Allard probably done with 97 pitches. 6.0 IP, 3 H, 1 K, 2 BB

Clouse... NOOOO.. Chase the giant gives up 2 walks and a hit, so Rome turns to Clouse to stop the rally and he walks the next batter then another single.. Rome is now tied and Allard's good work wasted!! all 3 runs go to Chase the giant though..

now Riley with an error to allow go ahead run to score.. this is like the Mississippi game the other night.

I think I am late but I am ready to get on the Weigel bandwagon. I know I said I would rank Mader over Weigel a few weeks ago, not anymore.

Man Weigel is a pleasant surprise. He kinda came out of no where and is a top 100 prospect. That's crazy.

I've always liked the guy, but he's really turning out to be amazing. This minor league depth is just unbelievable.

Something I'd like to ask for those that may know. Is there a specific reason the Braves own most of their minor league teams compared to most other teams?

Always wondered that myself, but haven't ever seen any specific reason. Perhaps it eliminates chances there would ever be blow back in the event the brass wanted to promote players at their desired pace regardless of attendance or playoff implications? Really don't see much benefit otherwise since you'd assume financial benefits for the big club would be marginal (at best) IMO.

Good business. Look at their locations. Not a turkey among them (not counting Carolina). Stadium are all first-rate as well.

Better control, fewer headaches, and they make money. That's a trifecta of reasons.
