But talk about anti-climactic. Crowd announced at 1,047 in Pearl. Geez, was Garth Brooks playing at the casino or something?

Honestly think this is our "compromise" - Mallex, Albies, Ruiz, Peterson, and a few arms have been kept down to give the minor league teams a better chance to win (again, IMO). When they're eliminated, we'll see several promotions (like Dansby's) to get folks their "cup of coffees".
 
I wonder if they push Fried to Double A to start next year, similar to Weigel. Fried will be 23 next year, and he has dominated with Rome the last few times out. Just depends on how aggressive they want to be with him.

Ole miss, miss state, and southern miss all had home games today
 
Bradley Roney has really pitched well this season. His control needs work, but it appears that when he's on, he's nearly unhittable.
