9/13 GAME DAY thread ... Game Two vs Nats

Dumb to keep Scherzer back out there.

He was gassed and Nats have a top 2 seed locked up.

Gohara with only 71 pitches. The two hits in the 6th came before he got to 60 pitches. I get it, but I wonder if they are thinking it would have been good to see what he could do for another inning. Glad he left feeling good, and is in line for the win.

Peterson drawing the walk was a a key to the inning.

Scoring seven earned runs against the godlike Schertzer is going to raise some eyebrows around the league. Would love to know what the FO are thinking about Lane Adams right about now.

He's terrible for a NL tram but if he stays healthy he's still a good hitter.

I don't buy he's terrible for an NL team. He's overpaid for sure but he's not terrible. He would be an exceptional DH though. I think we could find a couple AL teams interested in him. He needs to be in the NL.

I don't see how he isn't at the very least in a platoon role next year. He's been great this year.

His defense is bad. I just don't care to watch it anymore. I think he could absolutely mash for a AL team.

Let's say you give the keys to LF to Adams and Acuna Is up by May. Do the braves have the best defense in baseball?

His defense is bad no doubt. That's why he's best suited for the AL. Being a DH would keep him healthier too. But I just don't see his defense in left having that big of an impact. I just don't buy the advanced stats on that.
