9/13 GDT Braves try to lose to Marlins again; Dansby's groin OK

when Roe is on, he is unhittable with that slider. That thing really moves..

Curious to see what they do with Roe. He got lit up a couple of times within the past two weeks, but then he comes bouncing back with a few good performances in a row. For most teams in most years, he'd probably be let go, but they kept a guy like Burawa on the 40-man last winter and Roe is certainly a step or five above him. A lot will depend on what they do with Jim Johnson. It's always good to have a veteran in the bullpen, so maybe they will hang onto Roe initially and let him go if they sign Johnson.

The pen will be an interesting case next season and really this off season. Roe and Jose both are fringy but have potential to be really good. Cabrera, Viz, Simmons, Withrow, Krol are main stays barring trades. then you have Minter, Winkler, Paco all vying for spots as they are ready... plus other pieces in our system (Gant, Hursh, ...) knocking on the door. plus the possibility to re-sign JJ who has been extremely effective this year.
