Brandon Barker has had an interesting season. I don't know what is ceiling is, but the Braves obviously think enough of him to put him in Gwinnett to finish the season. He doesn't have eye-popping stats, but he had a pretty solid second professional season.

Nice to see both Peterson and Davidson finishing the season on an up-note.

Why not? If he does decent, I'd go into next season with Bourn and Mallex as the cf guys

I'd rather not. If he had a similar start to his time in AAA, he wouldn't have time to figure it out and would have to sit around all offseason thinking about his struggles in the majors. I'd rather let him finish the year with as much confidence as possible ready to win the job in ST.

Makes sense.

On second thought, it would probably hurt Maybin's trade value if he isn't playing every day in cf
