9/20 Phillies game 3

Aside from last night, it's hard to believe how terrible our pitching has been lately. They're mainly struggling against a ton of trash.
 
I like his type act like Chavez isn't about to get shelled...this cat should have been shut down for the year.

maybe our pitching was never really as good as it seemed. Just have to hope Fried and Strider are ready to go come Oct. There is no one else who is good.

Oh we all know. but I would trust Mort over Elder to not be as bad. I mean, they both are going to derail the post season.. but Mort has to be the #3.

Don't need a stud every night...we just have to accept that in each postseason series, there will be at least 1 game when the Braves offense has to outslug the other team.
 
I just can't get myself to be all that worried. The pitchers CAN be better, but they've also shown collective brilliance many more times than not this season. I'm also high on Morton in the playoffs - he comes in clutch more times than not. But, we'll see.
 
Riley is at .194 with RISP...I knew it wasn't good, but that is just terrible. Doesn't have a hit with the bases loaded all year.
