9/4 Braves @ Phillies

Pretty sure that was back-to-back wins with no hits w/RISP. That speaks to some hellacious pitching.

Please led Bradley take one of the starting roles.

So, a day off for Dansby, huh?

Can't damage the goods. Really, really need him to finish the season batting above .200 with an OPS over .500 or else someone might question the reasoning behind bringing up a guy who most said, even Hart, wasn't ready. One way to do that (if it can be done) is to sit him against the better pitchers.

.574 OPS.

Where are all the posters mocking those of us who said he wasn't ready and it was stupid to call him up?

Do you all still think this performance on a last place team was worth losing control of his age 29 season?

How about those boosted attendance figures due to the masses turning out to see Swanson put up a putrid batting line and sit against any above average pitcher?

I'm so glad they burned a year of control for that!

If he's not OPSing .600 now he probably won't be OPSing .800 then, so it doesn't matter.

I am right here. Still have almost a month to go. We didnt lose any service time because he was going to be on the opening day roster. He can suck in this MLB trial but if he hits the ground running next year in the majors then this callup was a good thing.

A 22 year old struggling at the MLB level after a little over a year of professional experience means he won't be significantly better at age 29?

He's going to be 29 when he's out of his arb years? Gosh, that's old. You really want to pay big money for a mediocre player's decline years?
