still wondering if the Braves are trying to preserve Dansby's rookie status for next season..

24 games left after this one.. sitting on 55 ABs. So basically has to take 5 more games off to keep rookie status.

Obviously they are cherry picking pitchers to 'rest' him though.

0-2 count and Weber throws a belt-high change up. And that sir, is why we aren't high on you. Just be smart. Jeez.

Also, I hate Turner so much

Has anyone even asked the organization to comment on their "rest" strategy for Dansby? I don't think it makes a lick of difference either way, but I would be interested to hear how they explain it.

The broadcast commented that Dansby might be battling some late season fatigue/aches/pains. They didn't mentioned the brass painting anything specific.

Dansby not playing against good pitching is a joke... but i suppose they want to hide his weaknesses as much as possible. Not sure why they brought him up to begin with

And we are down 5-1 to the Nationals' B team. This is called not trying very hard

I don't understand this. The Nats are a very good team, and Weber is a young pitcher. It's not like Julio or Folty are out there.
