Other than coincidence it doesn’t make any sense that the derby effects power the second half. Harper just isn’t that good
Swinging like that for a while could definitely cause you to get into some bad habits. Not sure that’s such a stretch.
...who is American Acuna?
Mlb needs to put Alonso in derby
Jack Clark has a career K rate of 17% and a career walk rate of 15%.
Riley is nothing like Jack Clark, and it’s odd you keep bringing him up as a comp.
Will be fun to watch, but I’m not stoked about this at all.
As Snowman astutely pointed out though, the “post HR derby slump” isn’t exactly founded in rigorous analysis.
Your reading and not understanding is now affirmed. I said between them, not just Clark. Do you like to troll?
Don't mess with me. I am serious. I respect your stats analyst capabilities but I did not imply he is like Clark, NOT AT ALL.
Don’t mess with you? Calm down hero...
Get educated on the memes here. You are years behind.
Acuña is the Venezuelan Trout. Therr was a big thread and someone left the forum from losing a bet.
Okay, point me to the board encyclopaedia please.
Don’t mess with you? Calm down hero...
I am big, yes, Sav could say that, but you are trolling, quit it. You are too good not to do this.
Trolling.
Fifteen years ago, Bobby Abreu, a Venezuelan, hit 37 HRs prior to participating in the home run derby and two after. I think it's safe to say all the markers are there and Acuña will suffer the same fate.
Edit: It was fourteen years ago and it was 18 before, six after. But the Venezuelan thing....well, Acuña is screwed.
