Gotta be either Fairchild or WilliamsI have read multiple articles about Ronnie’s return.
1. Luke Williams will surely be gone.
2. Fairchild is little used and will certainly be gone.
3. Verdugo is poor defensively, doesn’t offer speed and defense like Fairchild, doesn’t offer positional flexibility like Luke, and doesn’t hit as well as Eli, so he should be gone.
What do you guys, who are far wiser than the sports writers say?
Williams can play ss and has speed. What if it's Arcia? Doubtful, but seems you could make a caseGotta be either Fairchild or Williams
Four games, one plate appearance in May. You could be onto something.Williams can play ss and has speed. What if it's Arcia? Doubtful, but seems you could make a case
I doubt they do that though bc if Allen is injured, I can't see them using Williams full time at ssFour games, one plate appearance in May. You could be onto something.
Honestly what's the difference? Both are replacement level or worse.I doubt they do that though bc if Allen is injured, I can't see them using Williams full time at ss
Great call.Williams can play ss and has speed. What if it's Arcia? Doubtful, but seems you could make a case
Well, I didn't really call it. Thought it was possible, but unlikelyGreat call.
Yeah but I didn’t even think about him as an option but after you brought him up I thought it may be more and more possible since we haven’t seen him in foreverWell, I didn't really call it. Thought it was possible, but unlikely
Verdugo should be hitting 10th. White should be hitting 5th.New lineup is out with Acuna batting 1st of course.
Verdugo is batting 5th.![]()
That was a pretty strappy contraption on his knee in Gwinnett. Frankly, I don't care if he runs like Matt Olson if he can swing that Thang.I'm curious to how much Acuna's speed has dropped.
While Snit may be demonstrably retarded and may have brain plaques all over the place, nobody can overcome a shit bullpen, a shittier bench and a whole bunch of well-paid formerly good hitters who stopped hitting. Our GM finished about 29th in the GM rankings this offseason.this probably hurt twit's head trying to write a new lineup out...very confusing times for him.
This would be funny if the pen had actually been shitty. 2 of the last 3 losses can be placed directly at the feet of Snitker, and this is par for the course. While Snit may be demonstrably retarded and may have brain plaques all over the place, nobody can overcome a shit bullpen, a shittier bench and a whole bunch of well-paid formerly good hitters who stopped hitting. So Pierce my Johnson leaves them loaded, Dylan Lee gives up a couple lasers and the game, your closers ERA is a robust 5.59 and that's your idea of a great pen?
