FG has a nice blurb about the Braves' drafting strategy, and they focus not only on taking pitching early and often but on taking young pitching, including the youngest HS guys, which is something I've noted before. The track record is better for younger guys than it is for older guys. So there has to be more analysis than just 'we need to take more position players, because position players are more valuable than pitchers, because prospects ranked in ___ range average ___ in surplus value.' That's good information but it's nowhere near complete.
That's an aggressive upgrade. Very possible he is the starting RF next year.

Yeah, I'd follow the same general path as Albies this year, if not even more conservative.
Just see what happens this year. If he torches A+ and you move him to AA and he torches AA, I don't think it's rushing him to say he may be ready in 2018. I do think it would likely be rushing him to have him be the opening day RF no matter what, but you just never know. If he shows he's ready, then there's also no real need to hold him back.
I agree, but this is the same FO that promoted Swanson and started his service clock for no other reason than...no reason.
At some point this FO is going to get some pressure to show some results from the rebuild. If the young pitching doesn't start to produce at the MLB level at the end of this year, I could definitely see Acuna being rushed in an effort to "prove" the rebuild is working.
I hope it doesn't shake out that way and Acuna doesn't make his debut until opening day of 2019, but it's starting to become apparent The Genius doesn't know how to build an MLB winner, and hopefully he doesn't get desperate to save his job.

Stating they have perfectly managed the early portion of their rebuild is not equivalent to worshiping them, nor is it the same as claiming they are good at building an MLB winner.

They have traded two very valuable assets and gotten expectedly good returns on them, after failing to produce a winner around said assets for years. Congrats to them. Rick Hahn is a true genius.

Let's sat for argument sake kris Bryant doesn't resign with the cubs and cites the reason being they messed with his service time. Was it the right decision then to hold him back when he was clearly ready?
Of course I'm sure the cubs will throw whatever it takes to keep him but just curious on your thoughts.
