We really should just go all in on Stanton.

Inciarte
Acuna
Freeman
Stanton
Markakis
Flowers
Albies
Swanson

Yes please

It bears repeating because it remains true:

In a sample of 125+ PAs at each level this year, Acuna has significantly improved every single one of these numbers after each promotion:

BA

OBP

SLG

wOBA

wRC+

BB%

K%

ISO (not a significant jump from A+ to AA)

2B/PA

HR/PA

And his BABIP has come down after each promotion. So he is genuinely improving his production at every level. He is 19. That is ridiculous.

I think Acuna is a stud... but would like to see a substantial improvement to the walk rate before giving him the call. He's killing everything now, so pitchers should be pitching around him a bit more... I'd like to see if he shows a willingness to show more patience

(i'll bet this post makes people mad)

I think he's ready in terms of performance, I just want to gain the extra year. So if the FO uses his BB rate as a reason to keep him down, awesome.

1. If they do, they don't care about it... making them pretty ****ing stupid

2. Doubt they look at BB rate because it's not on the scoreboard

They obviously know what it is. They obviously value other things sometimes more than service time. You disagree with them, and I do, too, but pretending they are just stupid and don't get it is...well...stupid.
