Should be Alec Barger for Augusta if they're using the same lineup as yesterday before the PPD.

Is that the Withrow we drafted or the one we traded for... all Withrows look the same in the box score

Chris Martin got roughed up at Gwinnett

Not really. He gave up singles to the first two batters, struck out the next two, and was lifted for Chasen Bradford who gave up consecutive doubles and allowed both of Martin's baserunners to score. Bradford's strand-rate is now zero.

Thanks. Just looked at box score

I had totally forgotten that Matt's older brother Chris pitched for the Braves back in the Days of Coppolella. Both Chris and Matt have had their share of arm problems. Chris has been out of baseball for four years now. He was a first round pick of the Dodgers out of high school and looked to be someone who would be overpowering until the arm problems sidetracked him.

Did he pitch or just collect a pay check.

Chris pitched for the Braves in 46 games for the Braves in 2016. It was his last professional season. He signed with the Royals after electing free agency after the 2016 season, but he never pitched again professionally (at least from what I can discern). Chris Withrow came over from the Dodgers along with Juan Uribe in the deal that sent (you have to borrow Mr. Peabody's Wayback Machine to appreciate these names) Alberto Callaspo, Juan Jaime, Eric Stults, and Ian Thomas to Los Angeles.
