He struck guys out on fastballs no MLB player would swing at. The fastballs in the zone that were swung at were ripped for base hits and a liner to Acuna in LF.



The curve ate up that LHed hitter though.

Dude is in his mid 20s and has already performed at the MLB level. He is being used in short stints and should be owning AFL hittters.

His fastball has more life on it than I remember.
 
Looking more and more like Acuna will start the season in the big leagues. I just don't see any way he doesn't dominate spring training. He hasn't failed yet.

Assuming that Acuna is in RF all year is it possible that we can get 1.5 WAR out of the most expensive LF platoon in history?

You seem to think that regardless of what they do (or may hire), so what difference would starting Acuna's clock make?

If circumstances actually are as bleak for the current executives as many of you portray them to be, the only way they'll still have jobs in June is if Acuna's in the lineup on Opening Day and SunTrust is sold out every night until then.
