AHCA

Oh, to be clear I care about premiums.

What I don't care about?
is whinety college republicans 35 cent philosophy - that thinks it exempts them from paying their share of dues into the social contract

You must learn to read

Ah yes... I have to pay more than others because that's somehow fair.

I wish Bernie Sanders paid my tax rate, rather than his 13.5%... doesn't seem fair to me.

I believe in individual liberty. Why should we force someone to buy something they don't want? If you're product was good, you wouldn't have to force people to buy it.

The CBO even said the majority of the people "kicked off insurance" would be because they'd choose not to buy it.

why does the social contract dictate I must pay for tornado relief in Oklahoma ----- or quake protections along the San Andres Fault

what is it about United you don't understand ?

Ah, "it's not fair " the refrain of spoiled children.

Hey Steak Sauce, you know you and I disagree often but you've always been a gentleman to me whether we agree or not. I have a question that may not seem to have any bearing on these discussions you're always having with the Libertarians but do you listen to/like hip hop and/or rap (I'm so old I"m not even really sure if they're the same thing or not)?? Your response here and theirs too might shed some light on my opinion on these matters and maybe yours too.

Funny....I interpret adult up as being able to take care if yourself without depending on others

sometimes in life people require more than what they can do for themselves.
Hopefully it is non of us. But, never know
Huh ?

I'm happy to help those that are unable to help themselves because of real constraints.

I am a jazz aficionado that gets a chuckle when people tell me they like "good jazz"
kinda my response to hip hop

Then look at the numbers on who does and doesn't receive medicaid benefits.

Granted as in any other program there are abuses. Just like where you work there is probably some that don't quite measure up

Take a look at who does and doesn't require assisstance to purchase health care insurance.
Then take another minute to see how annual check ups for all benefit us, all

Yeah, I'm not that crazy about jazz myself, I don't hate it but it just isn't my fave. To me hip hop and/or rap about 99% of the time has the same criteria I have for a snake or a spider to be classified as "good". ;)

Anyway, you should google some of the lyrics to hip hop/rap "songs" (their word for it not mine) and put together an overall theme of how the males in that form of "art" think about and treat the females in their world, then get back to me and we can go to the next level of understanding the Libertarian mentality, especially the younger ones.

I believe it's you and your boy Bernie who is always screeching about fairness (and then subsequently doing exactly what he rails against).

I was simply mocking him (and you)

and the orange loser blames democrats

for saying he wins so much and being a great deal maker

he seems to be showing the opposite these days

This GOP's health care fiasco is epic. Majority in both houses and a POTUS on their side and still can't come up with legislation or plan better than Obamacare. Hilarious.

the latest in the (R) bill was a 14% cut to CDC

do I smell a gift to the IRA ?

Remember last yearr all the talk of corruption exposed by Wikileaks --- seems like yesterday

Is there a single dept you're OK with cutting, other than defense?

Said before I'm willing to make cuts on food stamps if it meant single payer.

No point in food if you're dead. And getting to people early and lecturing them on healthy eating before things get out of hand.

So single payer eventually leads to the government regulating what we can consume, right?

No.

Hasnt been like that in countries with single payer for decades.

The point being if you can educate people early about nutrition and eating healthy in the doctors office then you start eliminating future costs that will pile up on bad health.

I mean the South is plagued by obesity statistically. If the goal is to cover everyone and make the system efficient then education is the best answer.

Its unfortunate you think early education is controlling people on what they eat.
