Just finished watching the game on DVR delay. Good showings from Kimbrel and Freeman, bad showings from the Cardinal pitchers. Blech. I'm so so glad Jeter didn't get MVP.
Saw them interviewing Jeter on MLB Network at the AS game. His last. He's so cool. Just says the coolest things. He's saying he's just enjoying being with the guys in his last AS game. They showed old clips of him and Tony Gwynn hanging out. RIP. Rookie of the year. 5 gold gloves. 14 all star games. World Series MVP. Mr NOVEMBER!! 5 silver sluggers. 3400+ hits. 250+ HRs Yankees captain for 12 years. 5 Rings. Clemente Awards. 2 Hank Aaron awards and so on. Prime tail grabber. Amazing man and player.

Apparently FOX execs said they'd handle Gwynn stuff on the pre-game show on FS1... not during the actual game.
No Gwynn tribute, no Fregosi, no Zimmer (except Price). But we did get a nice round of Jeterian fellating and Selig interviewing.
