All the people said amen: Moylan placed on 10-day DL

I suggested he would be DFA'd for Viz and was quickly corrected that he would likely be put on the DL. I'm sure this will be a lengthy injury concern for Moylan.

Actually pretty intrigued by Reed. He has absolutely killed it at both levels this year. And 25 is still young enough where it might not be a total fluke, but instead finally figuring it out.

I'm not expecting much, but it would be very nice if we could find our own Bautista/Jason Bay/Josh Hamilton/any stereotypical older prospect who turns into a perennial all-star.

Reed's getting help from a bloated BABIP. He also has 68 innings of defensive work at all three OF positions and has a UZR/150 of 36.4. WOW! Small sample but impressive. All of this with the Brewers.

oh, wow, that BABIP (.532) is positively absurd. was also .426 in AA this year.
the defense is nice tho.

K Rate is over 28% at Gwinnett as well. I doubt he'll be a good hitter at this level but at least we'll have someone who gives us plus defense at CF if Inciarte gets hurt.

so we brought up a hitter just in time to play the Yankees with DH games. smart move. Moylan, it was time as I said in a thread earlier. It does appear that Viz is still not ready with Phillips call up, I am looking forward to seeing that the kid has, a first step we all hope towards fixing the pen.

It's what people commonly refer to as "the" Doxology.

Presbyterians, Lutherans, Methodists, and some Baptists. In addition to your basic Catholic. Sang in Presbyterian chancel choir for years. I always thought it was Ralph Vaughan Williams, but it was some dude back in Luther's time. Ol' Ralph probably did our arrangement.
