Going against my better judgement again. Opened up an account on America's Card Room. Been playing some hold em and am looking to get back into the football bets.

Anyone else here bet on sports?
 
Anyone ever try FanDuel or DraftKings? Just curious how exactly those sites work and if they can be profitable or not
 
I gamble on all sports and have for over 10 years. Unless you are willing to dedicate your life to it, you are better off just sitting out.

I've done draft kings....basically head to head, 1 week fantasy matchup for money. (though they have larger tourney too) You get a budge and pick the players based on assigned points.
 
There are some MIT level players using stats and analytics going on those sites and people are making a killing on rubes. I'd stay away from anything big money.

Same kids bet on sports games too using models. I mean, if you want to put a hundo on and do it for fun, sobeit, but you probably have just as good of a chance winning the lottery.

I just stick to the tournaments they have. Small amount for a buy in and I have placed in a couple already. Don't have the bankroll to play no limit table games.
 
I used to go to the casinos at least twice a month. Not so much now. Once every few months.
