I want Fried, Newk, Sims and Gohara to battle for 2 spots next spring.

I assume Newk has 1 spot all but locked up.

I hope Gohara is sent to AAA for a couple weeks to work in his change, and to buy the Braves another year of control while Fried or Sims take their lumps at the MLB level.

I don't see there being much of a chance that happens.

Gohara is well ahead of the rest...then comes Newcomb and the other two are some distance behind. There are various reasons why Gohara should spend a couple months in AAA next year. There are another group of reasons why the FO will have him in the rotation from the start of the season, barring something unfortunate happening in spring training.

Agreed. Outside of something happening that nobody wants to see, Gohara is also probably a lock for the rotation next year.
