Probably not worth it for most, but I'm not in the US and have an account with strongvpn.com for $55/year. Gives me a US IP address, or they have several international server locations.

Back in my newsgroup downloading days, I would get the full speed that my ISP offered via the VPN. These days, I stream from Netflix or MLBTV while my wife is watching youtube videos and my neighbour is using skype with no problems.

Totally worth it if you have a need year round.

I noticed that! The NLDS is a much bigger deal now. Plus, that was 96, so fans were still getting over the strike.
