Good on Nancy Pelosi for condemning Antifa.
So do the Democrats and msm take a hit for this? Do they apologize to the president for his accurate comments in charolettesville? When do they pay a price? 2018 ballot boxes?
Politically, if they distance themselves from Antifa now then they are fine. Anyone who attaches themselves to antifa going forward risk supporting a group that at some point will likely commit murder.
By your logic Eric Rudolph did nothing wrong when he blew up abortion centers.

Nothing matters. Trump didn't distance himself from the KKK and won. Nothing matters politically except the R or D next to your name and how well you can sell yourself.

Trump won Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. You think a random R wins those states?
It doesn't speAK to their inability to judge a situation in real time? Some of these documented reactions are going to make you scratch your head in the future.

"Racism is evil -- and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans," Trump said in response to the attacks in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend.
"Those who spread violence in the name of bigotry strike at the very core of America," Trump said.
"David Duke is a bad person, who I disavowed on numerous occasions over the years,"
"I disavowed him. I disavowed the KKK," Trump added. "Do you want me to do it again for the 12th time? I disavowed him in the past, I disavow him now."
You and I know what's going on, but I think this gives them an out if things escalate. It's good because it makes it less likely things will escalate even if the motive is unpure.
Did trump call them noble patriots as many of the left did with anti-fa?
This is a popular narrative. But I don't see the evidence
Unfortunately too many people from the left and the media gave these terrorists a platform of support which has fueled their energy, popularity, and tenacity to disrupt any thing they can.
