Any Players We Traded/Gave Up Recently Who We'd Want Back?

With the rebuild in full motion over the past few years, got me thinking. Have we recently given up anyone who we're going to end up regretting? I'm not talking about sentimental reasons like Heyward, Simmons, Kimbrel etc, but more so players who have performed or turned into stars elsewhere? It really doesn't seem like we have. Drury got off to a great start this year but tailed off since. Seemingly everyone we traded hasn't met expectations. Am I missing anyone?

Wanting to bring back former Braves isn't usually an M.O., but want to give some praise where it's due. Gregor Blanco is never discussed here, but is somebody who came up through the system without much hype or even any particularly high expectations. (Even remember seeing him play for the G-Braves.) Although his career has been unspectacular, he has been steady. His contract is extremely team friendly.

OF is not a position that will need to be filled, but he does possess something that does not appear on the stats sheets, and will be needed when Braves management decides that they're going to be serious about being major contenders again. He was a contributor on 2 world championship teams, and knows *something* about being in such an environment. Now, he might not be the best example, but they almost certain will need to import more veteran leadership after the new park opens. This will need to be the focus, and since the Braves haven't won in a very long time, any ex-Brave would have to have been part of a winning organization for some period of time.

I don't think we've really given up anyone recently (since 2012-2013ish) that we'll regret not having going forward. The only complaints we could have really would be about the returns we got for them in certain cases. But no doubt the front office made the right call on moving all the players they did.

Mac - if we could've come to a number that wouldn't have completely locked us up financially. Wonder how fast some of the arms we've had the last few years might've developed (and if they might've reached higher ceilings) with him behind the plate.

It used to be lastella on the board. I loved our side of the deal and still do

I figured someone would say drury. He's a solid piece but I think we dominated that trade and did ok moving justin. Only bad part was cj doing so well that wren extended him

Shreve? He was a good arm and man ban got hurt. I loved the deal at the time

Sorry, did not notice this mentioned in any threads (it had to have been) but just read about it at MLBTR. Did find it interesting that there were inquiries about Shelby Miller. Obviously, even "fair value" would not be good PR for the D-Backs. So, maybe discussions will be re-visited during the off-season?

Larvell Blanks.

still shocked there isn't a lot of drury love. His stats must have fallen off b/c I heard it a lot in the early season.
