Anyone Following the Alex Murdaugh trial?

So much fraud and death around this prominent man. What a history his family has.

A trial like this 30 years ago would've been the only thing people were talking about. Now with so much chaos and killing on a daily basis, it doesn't register as even interesting news. Has judicial corruption, greed and murder become commonplace?

If he killed his wife and son, there's a lot of evidence that it was a premeditated act. That would be crazy to contemplate except for all the other crazy $hit he seems to have done.

Big unanswered question: where did all that money go??? To George Santos?

I don't think he was on drugs at all. I think that was all another ruse. He doesn't look or act in any way like a drug addict.

Narcissism at its finest imo.

Downfalls like that take a lot of self assuring you are the smartest person in the room.

He may have been the smartest lawyer in that courtroom but the circumstantial evidence was very damning.

And those people in the S.C. Lowcountry are sick and tired of the Murdaughs and the stink of corruption. It's very impressive to see a jury from that area stand up to that kind of deep seated power.

I wonder if there will be any repercussions from the Murdaugh family against those jurists. I hope not.
