Well, I like the idea of selling high on Medlen given our young arms coming up, etc. But after his great Sept. I expect that is less likely to happen this off-season.

Pen - same as this year, keep one of EOF or Venters to replace downs.

Mattingly said Nolasco gets game 4 start regardless of whether they win or lose game 3. I think thats the right move by the Dodgers. That puts the pressure on the Braves to win games 3 and 4.

He'll take heat if they lose, but I think it's the right call. Kershaw is coming off a long outing and has never pitched on 3 days' rest.
 
The only reason I would consider it is because you can still throw Greinke for game 5 on normal rest. Even if Kershaw went in game 4 he is probably 5 innings and done and their pen could get exposed.

Yeah, it might depend on what their 'pen usage is like in games 3-4.
 
Weird move by Hurdle pinch hitting for his shortstop with a lead. And also going righty righty when he has a good lefty bat on the bench. Makes me appreciate Fredi a little more.
