Around Baseball 2015 Edition

This has to be worst possible circumstance for a call-up if you are a minor-league pitcher. "Hey Ian, we're bringing you up . . . to be the 26th man for a double-header at Coors Field."

Today, the #Dodgers recalled LHP Ian Thomas from Triple-A Oklahoma City to be the 26th man for today’s doubleheader at Colorado.

Coincidental that David Hale is getting the call up to be the 26th man for the Rockies in the same game.

The Dodgers let Ian Thomas wear one this afternoon in mop up duty. Takes the loss with 3 IP, 4R, 5H, 2 BB, 1 HR.

Gattis just hit his 12th homer. Man this guy is going to have some monster seasons in that park. Great trade for both sides.

Rockies picking up some traction. Tulo and Arenado are on some kind of fire right now. Going for the day-night sweep of the Dodgers.

Crazy Coors Field game. Alex Guerrero just hit a go ahead grand slam on 1-2 count with 2 outs in the 9th.

Outside of the power it's been very ugly for Gattis this season.

To be fair, most the suckitude came in his first ike 6 games. Since April 15th, he been practically the exact same player he was with us. .260/.288/.558 .847 OPS. Lots of power, bad on base skills, so-so average

I'm all for bringing Carpenter back. He hasn't even sucked that hard for New York, better than some guys who've gotten playing time herer.
